The International Trade Club in Mobile, Alabama is a premier private club offering its members an elegant meeting place for Mobile's community and business leaders.
The Trade Club's enthusiastic staff delivers quality service along with great, mostly southern cuisine! The Club embodies the prestige of Mobile's business establishment and provides the backdrop for successful business meetings, presentations, and associations. "Greetings to all the members of the International Trade Club!
Ladies and Gentlemen, in a time when private clubs are struggling nationwide, you should be very proud of your club. For two years now, our financial position has been improving, we service a growing list of banquet and meeting events, and through the great assistance of the Port Authority, the look of the club has vastly improved. With a great cooking staff, our fare continues to compete with restaurants throughout Mobile. Getting to this position was a labor of ...well, it was laborious !! There was a tremendous amount of personal committment, sweat and tears given to this club by many individuals in the past few years to position us here and now. From here, where do we want to go? How can we help create a long term, positive and sustainable operation so that we can grow membership, enjoy club functions and offer premier business dining and meeting services? These are questions that we can finally take the time to answer in depth. One of the ways we can start the process of answering is with a thorough assessment of our club's purpose, its services and operations. I have proposed to the Board that we initiate a series of subcommittees to examine the facility, membership needs, special events, finance, marketing and promotion. The actions of these subcommittees will take time to initiate - but we must look to our future. Mobile is enjoying the benefits of many years of investment - we are seeing incredible economic activity in the Port City that is unlike most of the U.S. Your International Trade Club should be growing as the preferred location for members and area business people to select when considering a client meeting, presentation, or special event. Help us make this happen ! Help us grow our membership. Bring a client to a lunch meeting where you are assured a professional setting with good food, where conversation isn't drowned out by loud music or noisy service. Join us for member's night Seafood Extravaganza on June 12th - it's going to be awesome! Most of all, come and enjoy YOUR club."
